3 Rane Ristoro is a true hidden gem in the heart of Lecce. With only six tables, it offers an intimate and carefully curated dining experience that feels both personal and authentic. The cuisine, crafted by chef Maurizio Raselli, draws inspiration from his Piedmontese roots while incorporating refined French techniques and a touch of Salento’s local flavor. The menu is small and seasonal, but every dish is thoughtfully prepared—standouts include their homemade pappardelle with rabbit ragù, rich in flavor and texture. The wine list is equally special, focusing on natural, organic, and biodynamic wines from small producers, perfectly paired to complement the dishes. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, with warm, attentive service that enhances the overall experience.
Unbelievably good Italian food. Best we had on our trip to the Puglia region. The chef had such a delicious take on traditional dishes and everything was perfectly salted, filled with flavor bombs.
Impeccable food, service, atmosphere. Just perfect & good value for money. You should go!
Great care taken to serve delicious and varied cuisine. Friendly, personal service. English spoken. Five minutes walk from the old town, escaping the crowds. Good value.
Probably the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life. I’m from NYC and have traveled around the world. Tre Rane stands out as number one. A refined menu of the most creative, mouth watering flavor and texture combinations. Incredible service. Unpretentious beautiful atmosphere. We got the poached egg appetizer, white ragu pasta, squid and ricotta tart. Everything was heavenly. Please come to this restaurant. It is worth flying all the way to Lecce for.
This is a hidden gem. A small restaurant with 10 or so tables, this is somewhere to ensure you visit when in Lecce. We opted for the 6 course tasting menu - which was the best way to taste all the chef has to offer without overdoing it with too much food! (I would say the 8/10 course would be too much but if you haven’t eaten all day then it might be the most delicious feast you ever take on!!) We went for the ceviche with asparagus and peanut, foie gras with broad bean, amaretti and pecorino (noteworthy!!), rabbit pasta, risotto with yellow tomato and sea bream (my favourite, could have had a whole bowl of this buttery, comforting and decadent risotto), slow cooked octopus with sweet potato and chilli and we rounded it off with the chocolate mousse (think rich, thick and dark - I’d like them to sell this by the pot!) and tiramisu. All were delicious in their own right but together it was one of the best meals we have had in Salento. If you’re looking for somewhere where the small team ensures you have a great time, you taste incredible food in an unpretentious and pretty setting, and all for an insanely affordable price then I cannot recommend this place more and before it’s discovered by the masses.
We had the pleasure to enjoy a very nice dinner at 3 Rane. Service was great, with a big smile and personal. The food was just great. And also great value for money (we had 6 courses tasting menu recommended by the chef). We had paired wines (all local) which were also very nice. Would highly recommend anyone going to Lecce to try (! The place is small) to get a table here.
